Jennifer Lopez youthful weight loss secret

By | February 15, 2010

Do you wonder why Jennifer Lopez looks fabulously youthful even without drastic exercise programs to get weight loss? JLo’s secret can be shared and attained. Jennifer Lopez looks slim and a decade younger than her real age as she gets 8 hours of sleep nightly.

Researchers claimed having sufficient sleep helps a woman not to feel tired and act refreshed. As such, the body burns up calories and the person is less inclined to be obese or overweight.

A tired body in the daytime does not metabolize food effectively and this leads to weight gain, increased risk of diabetes and heart disease.

In the UK,
19% adults get 8 hours of sleep,
16% get 6 hours or less,
The rest of the 65% get between 6 to 8 hours of sleep.

Studies done in the US and Japan showed that women who have sufficient quantities of sleep at above 7 hours each night experienced weight loss. The women lost between 3 to 15 pounds.

How to get uninterrupted sleep and encourage weight loss:
1.) Don’t drink caffeine after 6 pm.
2.) No exercise before bedtime.
3.) Avoid excess alcohol.
4.) Don’t watch TV in bed as it encourages disrupted sleep.
5.) Don’t take medicines containing caffeine.
6.) Don’t drink teas, except for camomille tea, which contains a herb that reduces stress .
7.) Establish regular sleeping and waking hours.
8.) Don’t drink too much before bedtime because you’ll be awakened to go to the toilet and this disrupts sleep.
9.) Eat properly during the day to avoid starving your body.
10.) Plan your next day before you go to bed to avoid stress.

I think JLo is a very good looking, talented lady and she seems like she has a very kind heart. I wish her the best in everything with Mark Antony or whomever else she chooses to be with.
