Sep 4 2010 – Lady Gaga’s weight loss is told in the book “Poker Face The Rise and Rise of Lady Gaga”, revealed by David Ciemny. Ciemny is the former tour manager of Lady Gaga.

Ciemny claimed in a new book that Lady Gaga was ill and hospitalized 6 times in 2009. She dieted and went into extremes to slim herself to fit into her costumes. Ciemny claimed Gaga was ill physically as she deprived herself of food.

Lady Gaga may be having an eating disorder due to her extreme dieting habits. Gaga allegedly did yo-yo dieting and her weight would swing from one measurement to another.

Ciemny said Gaga starved herself to become slim but had sugar cravings while on tour so she gorged on junk food. Gaga’s food binges included sugary foods and unhealthy food. Gaga sometimes refused food for weeks to lose weight. Ciemny said he knew Gaga once lost 20 pounds of weight in-between two costume fittings.

Ciemny quoted Wendy Starland, a talent scout, who also claimed to know about Lady Gaga’s plans for weight loss. Starland said Gaga faced pressure to lose weight.

David Ciemny’s wife, Angela, was quoted as saying Lady Gaga liked to cuddle her in bed before her stage concerts. Sometimes, Gaga would text Angela and plead for her to spend time together.

Some people attribute this behavior to show insecurity from Lady Gaga.
