Kai Hibbard, a finalist on The Biggest Loser’s season 3, doesn’t appreciate the show. Hibbard claimed she was forced to lose weight and consequently, she developed an eating disorder.

Hibbard claimed she was forced to do so much exercise for 2 to 5 hours a day that she got sick. The crew and production staff of The Biggest Losers kept a close watch on the competitors.

The show’s dietician was there for courtesy reasons as the big wigs refused to allow the contestants listen to the dietician. The real people in charge were the trainers and the contestants were told to listen to them solely.

Hibbard said after she was sent packing from the show, she received an unwanted amount of follow-up from the producers. They reminded her to continue to exercise and lose weight. They refused to leave her alone, for fear she would fall off the band wagon and revert to unhealthy eating habits.

Hibbard said she listened and ate only 1000 calories per day. Hibbard worked out between 5 to 8 hours daily, and getting only 3 hours of sleep. She was so undernourished that her hair started falling off.

Kai Hibbard weighed in at 262 pounds at the start of Biggest Loser. Hibbard lost 118 pounds and weighed 144 pounds.

Behind the scenes, Hibbard said her immune system became so weak that she fell sick. Hibbard stayed in bed for a fortnight.

Hibbard recovered and went on to marry her husband Jake Zwiestra. Soon, Kai conceived Jacob, her son. She was kept busy with her newborn, and her weight rose up again. Hibbard weighed over 200 pounds again.

Hibbard said she was wrong to sign an agreement on the terms for appearing on the show. She’s not supposed to talk about all these but she wants to.
